Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Dollars Lab collects, why, and what choices you have. It applies to https://finance-tools-umber-one.vercel.app.

The short version

Everything you type into a calculator on this site stays in your browser. Calculations run locally in JavaScript. We never receive, transmit, or store the figures you enter — not your income, your balances, your debts, or anything else.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names or email addresses except when you choose to contact us directly.

• Calculator inputs: never collected. They exist only in your browser session and are gone when you close the tab.
• Analytics data: we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. This collects your approximate location, device and browser type, referring site, and the pages you view. IP addresses are anonymised.
• Server logs: our hosting provider records standard request logs, including IP address and user agent, for security and reliability purposes.
• Contact form: the name, email address, and message you submit are used solely to read and reply to your enquiry. We keep them only as long as needed for that. Submissions are delivered to us through Web3Forms, a third-party form-processing service, which handles the message in transit. We never ask for financial account details through the form, and you should not send them.

Cookies and advertising

This site is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or the NAI opt-out page.
• Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies directly in their settings. Doing so will not break any calculator on this site.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we hold almost no personal data, most such requests are satisfied simply by our confirming that fact. Use our contact form to exercise these rights.

The CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. Advertising partners may treat personalised ad delivery as a "sale" or "share" under California law; the opt-out links above stop this.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
